Single Blade works to help each paddler harness the potential of his/her craft, and to thereby enhance the satisfaction he/she gets from paddling.
Single Blade’s speciality is one-to-one tuition, or personalised tutoring within small groups: working on the skills-progression that’s right for each individual, and in a manner suited to the learning style and preferences of each individual.
All formal coaching is organised to provide strategies for independent progression: sessions are intensive, but offer an understanding of how to practise and consolidate learning and development.
By preference, Single Blade works with students on any / all aspects of “moving upon the water with precision and grace, as naturally as is humanly possible”, and on helping students work towards becoming “the complete paddler”.

Canoe Touring
Any ACA skills course can cover all or part of the course outline and will be tailored to fit the needs of the participants. Skills courses do not have to be taken in a successive order. At the conclusion of a skills course, participants may receive a participation card.
